Guys, another point with hot guns...  sure Spartans were shooting right at the limit...  on virtually every gun they brought...  It probably has something to do with the fact they own, work at, hang out at... one of the best airsoft pro shops in the nation...  They live and breath upgrading guns...  Where most of us are happy to take a 350-360 fps (with .25's) to Irene...  They guys are trying to figure out how to get another 4 or 5 fps to max their guns out...

And NA probably makes some of the best long range guns...  I personally have seen an Irene limit M14 built by them shooting 80+ yards and hitting man sized targets no problem.

No question they have top of the line gear... not just a couple of their guys, everybody on that team...  It does give them an advantage... but they *all* chrono'd within the limits.

All in all the only gripe I can really have is that we didn't get to finish the game and take back the lead.  I understand that it was time to call it because of heat, but remember that Silent Ops, Gun Devils and Spartans were the last to leave the field, many of us still willing to play.

Tim

Tim, I agree it would have been nice to finish the game, but it was not worth the cost of more people having issues because of the heat.  Remember, Heat related issues are dangerous and even can be fatal.

Both Bluefor and Redfor commanders agreed to end the game.  It does not really matter who was still standing and wanting to play.

Safety is the number one concern in any game.

Thanks Jay, we have gone a long time with a shadow over our heads about our team.  Any success is seem to be met with hostility and false accusations.  It's sad that this isn't the first time we've heard these complaints, but it couldn't be more obvious that we were within the FPS limits and did our best to observe the MED distances.

Achilles, I understand completely, and made it clear in my post that I also felt that it was the right time to call the game.  I'm just stating a fact.
