Alternative Sport in Blountville, Tn, has agreed to host a game on there woods course on Saturday March 22nd. The field is 5 to 8 acres of woods, bunkers, and several structures. The owner also asked that due to his insurance regulations, all players have sealed goggles, mesh or paintball mask but no shooting or safety glasses. Do to logistic reasons the owner asked that I handle questions in order to keep call volume down on his business line. We will be working on several scenarios so if you have any ideas post them.
We definitely want to encourage folks to come out and check out this new venue. Wes is really open to bring airsoft onto his field. Cost of the the game will be $10 per person. Players will need to be at least 14 to play again due to insurance. We will have the waiver available shortly, and you can fill it out and bring it with you signed by a parent/guardian if your under 18. Over 18, youll need to sign the waiver, but this can be done on site. We will try to start the game between 9:30 and 10:00 and run until everyone gets tired or till dark. Keep in mind that the date of this game is after the daylight savings switch over so it wont be getting dark till after 7pm. Power supply will be available to run chargers, however you will have to charge at the pro shop which is a good ways away from the wooded course. It would be a good idea to consider having a secondary or backup battery just in case they begin to go. Scenarios are being planned, and the game will probably be split into two half day, objective based games with respawning. Teams would be changed up during the lunch break, but we are of course open to suggestions. It is a very large area, with heavy bunkering, but enough space between bunkers to make it a technical and challenging course. |
