AI Tornado Grenade
Written by JayC
Wednesday, 11 June 2008

This was written by Spartans very own Kane and posted here with his permission and a little editting by me (adding videos)...

I just got my Airsoft Innovations Tornado Grenade in last night and wanted to give you a few initial impressions.

The first thing I noticed is how much smaller it was than what I expected.  From the website it looked like the size of a flashbang, but when it arrived it was definitely hand grenade sized.  It fits nicely in my average-sized hand and can easily be handled by a smaller hand, like that of a young adult or female.

Next I noticed how light it was in comparison to how it looked.  I actually feel safe playing with it and not giving come poor player a concussion when I toss it overhand into a pillbox or room.  Even with it full of BB's (roughly 180) it still isn't heavy at all.  It has just enough heft to allow you to get it where you want it and not pull a muscle while trying to do so.  You can toss this thing a long way.

CB:IV Signups today June 11th at 5PM

Thundergod posted this a few minutes ago...  probably already filled up... you can get more details at www.badkarmaairsoft.net
I am setting up the CB:IV signup forum now and complete details will be down there in it. 5PM tonight it will open. If past years have been any indication, the site WILL BE SLOW as everyone attempts to sign up. I am making some modifications to my servers to make sure everything goes as fast as it can, but PLEASE BE PATIENT and click your buttons only once as you wait for the forum to update. You can see on the main forum page the number of people that are on at any given time and there will be quite a few on. I think last year's record number of people was 50 or so. That's a lot of people to be on at once, clicking all over the place for the forum to keep up with.

If you want to chat it up and stuff with each other, PLEASE USE the CHAT link above to enter the Bad Karma chat room. That room is hosted in a seperate site and it's speed is not affected by the server here, NOR will it interfere either. You can open that window and chat while you watch the forums here.

If you have not used the chat room, IT USES JAVA, so when you go, you may see the little ActiveX bar at the top of your screen asking if you want it to be installed. If you want to chat, you MUST install the ActiveX application. It is completely safe, so you will be fine.

More details about signups can be found on the link above. Every slot went in 9 minutes last year. I fully expect to match that record this year as well.

Good luck to everyone coming to play with us again or for the first time!!!

I am a fellow airsofter and i know how it is when money is tight.  But i found this website that many you may already know or have skimmed across but due to the nature of the website and the weary name many have passed it up.

I wrote about my experience with them.

Noob Day Postponed

Thundergod posted this a few minutes ago...  With the weather thats coming over the next 2 days, definately the right call to make.

I've been up for a while this morning already watching every local weather forecast and it's gonna "r" today that we cannot get out and finish prepping the field for tomorrow.

If that was all it was, we could still play but late tonight and early tomorrow morning there is ANOTHER line rolling through that is promising a LOT of "R" and even some potentially BAD weather.

There is no sense in getting people to drive a long way to get here to MAYBE only play half a day if we were lucky on a field that isn't ready.

So, let's postpone for two weeks. Let everyone have a good Easter weekend next weekend then come back the next Saturday ready to get shot up. The April playdate will not change.

Fullmetal wrote the following review...  It's a great look at a very popular AEG.  We'd like to thank him for posting it to the website.

I purchased this weapon about a month ago from the guys over at NA.

When i got the box home i was pleasantly surprised at how well the gun was secured in the box.The gun was set in a carboard cut out with 2 pieces of Styrofoam holding it in. The contents of the box included the gun, cleaning rod, barrel plug, blaze orange tip, 1 hi-cap Mag with winding key, bag of 200 premium bb's, 8.4v 1200 mah battery w/small tamiya, Sight adjustment tool, battery charger and a very thorough owners manual.
